I will welcome you in my beautiful green Balinese tropical garden. We will open our class with a quick meditation, as an offer and respect for the Balinese culture. After, I will give you a 15 minutes introduction about Bali's dances and how the dance is deeply woven within its culture. I will talk about how spirituality influences the day by day of the island and its art, how dance is introduced at a very young age to kids. You will be able to ask me any questions you might have. After the introduction, I will dance for you a small part from the “Condong” dance. Then, we will study togethe...

"l had never experienced Balinese dance nor been to Bali so this was a real treat. Allegra was a delightful host and teacher and very experienced in her art. We danced with her and she was very supportive and encouraging. Thank you, Allegra, for a magical hour and for giving us the Lotus Mudra to open the heart chakra."

"This was a great value for the money especially if you are an artist looking for something to do with your pent-up energy! The class was just right for beginners - with a bit of storytelling, a bit of show and tell, and some basics that were just about right for the time available."

"È stata davvero una bellissima esperienza! La meditazione iniziale e il contesto ti portano in un mondo nuovo in cui è possibile immergersi per un'ora lontano da tutto e tutti. La spiegazione sulla danza e sulla cultura di Bali è stata molto interessante e Allegra oltre ad essere molto dolce e preparata ti mette subito a tuo agio. Consigliatissimo!"

"Allegra is an empowering dancer & artist. She hosts an online experience from a magical setting in Bali and walks us through the cultural and symbolic meaning behind Balinese dance. This was an entirely new type of dance experience for me. She is encouraging and helps draw out the goddess within as the dance intends to do. A lovely experience with a lovely artist. Many thanks."

"Since Bali will be closed to tourists until the end of 2020, this is a truly wonderful way to experience a taste of Bali from your own living room. Having lived in Bali, I can say that it brought me right back and I felt I was there. I learned about Balinese Dance and the culture of dance, something I had seen, but really did not know much about the origins or meaning of the dance. Definitely worth the time and cost."

"How beautiful to share a deep meditation from Bali and then learn to dance as the Balinese do, with a deep understanding of combining asymmetry and balance, led by beautiful and soulful Allegra from a magical setting in Bali."

"l had a great experience through this online lesson. I'm interested in Balinese dance but I had no chance to learn that. I'm really glad to learn a part of Balinese dance and its culture. This experience is brand-new and my challenge. I recommend this lesson for the people who wants to know about Bali."

"This was an amazing experience from the start with our meditation through learning the context about Balinese dance, watching Allegra demonstrate part of the dance, up until the end when I had the chance to use the movements I learned to improvise a dance of my own at the end. I felt so grounded and connected with my body. This felt like a gift to myself. You will love this class!"

"It was a wonderful and special cultural and artistic experience with Allegra. The setting is a terrace outside and the view is beautiful. I could feel Allegra ls passion for Balinese culture and dance. It was a relaxing experience and great to both watch Allegra l s graceful performance and also try Balinese dancing. I learned more about Balinese dance and how it's woven into the fabric and traditions of society. Highly recommended as a cultural learning experience as well as for relaxation!"
