Transcreation: Translating A Language You Don't Know?
(Sat, 31 Oct 2020 10am)
How do you translate a language you have little or no knowledge of? Is it possible to bridge the language barrier with Google Translate alone? Are you making a mockery of the craft of translation? Four translators/transcreators guide you through the art of transcreation from their experience with a unique project with Cordite Poetry Review.
This programme is co-presented with Sing Lit Station.
