Air Play by Imaginique Children's F...
New York’s Air Play merges circus and street theatre performance art with sculptural artistry.Air Play is a circus-style adventure of two siblings journeying through a surreal world, transforming ordinary objects into uncommon beauty. Fabrics dance in the wind, balloons have a mind of their own, confetti turns into the night sky and an enormous canopy of hovering silk forever alters their future.Ride the wind and dream with Air Play, a modern spectacle that brings to life the very air we breathe. Flying umbrellas, larger-than-life balloons, giant kites floating over the audience, and the biggest snow globe you’ve ever seen will make you gasp in wonder and laugh until it hurts.Quote: “Bringing to life the air we breathe; Air Play is a visual poem. A non-verbal show that manipulates physical movement to create imagery and meaning.”Click here to find out more about the programme.
Toddler's Room by Imaginique Childr...
There’s charm, too, in Toddler Room, a beautifully gentle, enchantingly designed dance piece for babies and toddlers by Dybwikdans of Norway. The show is presented in a lovely, little white pod in which dancer Marie Ronold Mathisen interacts wordlessly with her very young audience using nicely choreographed movement, big red balloons and a large, but appealingly benign, bird puppet. This beautiful piece of mini dance theatre has been created by choreographer Siri Dybwik to appeal to our youngest audiences.Set inside a white dome the children and their carers will immediately become involved in a play without words where gorgeous sculptural objects, sounds, and beautiful costumes are the stimulus for a truly magical experience.Quote: “Toddler Room is a tent of small wonders and special discoveries”Click here to find out more about the programme.

100 Million Mani Recitation Retreat...
THE 19TH 100 MILLION MANI RECITATION RETREATInspiring Lives:In The Light Of Great CompassionThe Singapore 100 Million Mani Recitation Retreat was initiated by the late H.E. Drubwang Rinpoche of the Drikung Kagyu lineage in the year 2001. Since then, more than 10,000 people have participated in this auspicious retreat. The 19th Mani Retreat will be led by His Eminence Thritsab Rinpoche and the Drikung Kagyu Lamas. ABOUT THIS MANI RETREAT PRACTICEParticipants will gather to recite the six syllabus mantra OM MANI PADME HUNG, which is the heart mantra of Avalokiteshvara (Guan Yin) Bodhisattva. Through the power of the mantra and individual's effort, one will begin to uncover the excellent qualities of Avalokiteshvara from within oneself. By purifying one's body, speech and mind, one may experience inner peace, compassion and wisdom. It is taught that the merit of reciting even one OM MANI PADME HUNG is inconceivable. Doing this practice will help to close the doors of the six realms of cyclic existence. Sentient beings will gradually be free from sufferings, gain rebirth in the Buddha’s pureland and eventually attain full Enlightenment. Michael Jackson Live Tribute Show f...
Having been told he bore a strong resemblance to Michael Jackson from a young age, Spanish singer Sergio Cortés took the comparison in his stride, devoting his life to producing the best tribute concert for Michael Jackson. With a completely natural resemblance without any surgical enhancements, Sergio puts his life and soul into his show, a night of illusion and magic for the fans and give them dance rhythms that touch the heart. Widely covered by the press for the resemblance and even asked by the Jackson family themselves if he would be Michael’s body double, Sergio’s most magical moment was when he met his idol himself, which he remembers as warm and full of respect, thanks to being hired to mislead the press during one of MJ’s tours. When Michael died in 2009, Sergio stopped performing as a sign of respect for his idol, but at fans urging him on, Sergio returned with a renewed passion and energy for his tribute shows. Featuring first class musicians, supporting singers and a troop of dazzling dancers, with huge video walls and scenic backdrops, The Michael Jackson Live Tribute Show has sold out theatres in Europe and Latin America, with Jackson fans becoming Sergio fans as they understood his mission to honour the music and memory of Michael Jackson. Now, Sergio is ready to take his Tribute Concert halfway around the world, and bring everyone a spectacular night! Don’t miss this chance to catch The King of Pop ‘live’ as he arrives in Singapore this December for a one night only performance at Resorts World Sentosa!

KING GESAR IN SINGAPORE 2019
His Eminence, Great Terton Namkha Drime Rabjam RinpocheDuring his visit to Tibet, Guru Rinpoche gave countless Tantric teachings to King Trisong Detsen, the princes and to all of his disciples. Guided by infinite love and compassion, most of these teachings were hidden to benefit future generations. These concealed teachings constitute the Terma Lineage and are classified into two categories: the Earth Treasures and the Mind Treasures or Gongter. The Earth Treasures were written in a symbolic language, known as Dakini script, a secret form of writing, and they were then hidden in the ground, rocks, trees and water by Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal and some of Guru Rinpoche’s main disciples. The Mind Treasures are also known as Gon Ter, Gon means ‘awakened mind,’ a mind that is not confused, and refers to one who abides in the true nature of mind and phenomena. The general meaning of Ter is ‘endless’ in the sense of ‘extremely abundant,’ like an ocean. In the same way, by the blessings of Guru Rinpoche, the brief and extensive texts and their meaning flow profusely from the awakened minds of the Tertons to benefit all sentient beings.Specific to the Vajrayana Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, the Termas can only be discovered by a Terton. These great spiritual masters of Tibetan Buddhism are all emanations of Guru Rinpoche. Over the centuries, they have discovered the spiritual treasures hidden in the time of Padmasambhava. A Tertön is an incarnation of Guru Rinpoche and directly received his teachings in a previous life. This was particularly the case of the twenty five great disciples. In past lives, His Eminence Terton Namkha Drime Rabjam Rinpoche was born as one of the greatest masters of India, the Mahasiddha Humkara. And also in Tibet in the eighth century as Lhopon Namkhai Nyingpo, one of the twenty-five main disciples of Guru Rinpoche who accomplished a great level of realization. In his current life, he clearly remembers having been Gyatsa Zhalkar, the brother of Gesar. At the age of thirteen he vividly met Guru Rinpoche in a vision and received his blessings. From that moment he repeatedly encountered the Three Roots, especially Gesar and his retinue, and received blessings from all of them. As a result, his Mind Treasures (Gongter) started to arise in his mind stream.
