Pangdemonium 2020 Season Ticket

Enjoy big savings and special perks for an entire year of Pangdemonium theatre. The Season Ticket is an exclusive subscription package that gives you one ticket for each show in our upcoming season.

As we embrace our 10th year and enter another stage in our evolution, we’re engaging you with a stunning new drama, paying tribute to a timeless classic, and revisiting our humble (but far from modest) beginnings…

For lovers of modern drama tackling contemporary themes, we bring you the latest gem by acclaimed playwright Florian Zeller (The Father), aptly entitled The Son. We’re also thrilled to give a loving Pangdemonium spin to Tennessee Williams’ mesmerising masterpiece, The Glass Menagerie. And finally, we chose to launch Pangdemonium in 2010 with a show we knew everyone would connect with because of its spirit of hope, empowerment and never-say-die. So, to round off our 2020 Season, we’re gonna re-boot, re-imagine, and re-invent this magnificent musical comedy…The Full Monty 2020 is gonna be Fuller and Monty-er than ever!

The Son
By Florian Zeller
Translated by Christopher Hampton
Rating: Advisory 16 (Some Mature Content)
Drama Centre Theatre
20 Feb to 7 Mar 2020
Nicolas appears to be your average 16-year-old - sullen, silent, and secretive. As his behavior becomes increasingly erratic, his divorced parents are left with no choice but to consider desperate measures - one that may tear them all apart.
What is causing his dark moods? How come he’s so angry? When did he start lying? What secret is he harbouring? Why is he hiding a knife? The Son is a brutally honest drama that will leave an indelible mark on your head and heart, and a timely exploration of urgent mental health issues among our youth.
The Glass Menagerie
By Tennessee Williams
Victoria Theatre
19 June to 5 July 2020
Tom Wingfield works in a factory, but dreams of life as a writer. As much as he longs to break free from the demands of his domineering mother and stifling home life, Tom feels compelled to stay because of his profound loyalty to his sister, Laura. Left with a limp from a childhood illness, Laura has grown into adulthood mentally fragile and cripplingly shy, seeking solace among her collection of precious glass figurines. And then there is their mother Amanda, yearning for a better life for them all.
Possible salvation comes in the form of a dinner party they host for Jim, their Gentleman Caller, who symbolizes the promise of love for Laura, social and financial respectability for Amanda, and freedom for Tom.  Will Jim be the answer to all their problems?
Williams’ hypnotic semi-autobiographical memory play looks at a tragic family tale of love and abandonment through the prism of memory, and also through the eponymous glass menagerie.

Six ordinary guys - Jerry, Dave, Harold, Horse, Malcolm and Ethan - have just been retrenched. Strapped for cash and stripped of their dignity, they make the desperate decision to go one further – to make a quick buck by putting together a strip show!
As they rehearse their act, they have to juggle parental responsibility, peer pressure, and performance anxiety(!). And as they count down to showtime, they also learn lessons in friendship, loyalty, fidelity, self-respect, unconditional love, and, ultimately, what it means to be a 21st century man.
