Musical Kaleidoscope: a classical music concert
Synopsis

Music For People 2020 Concert - Musical Kaleidoscope
May 23, 2020
SOTA Concert Hall

Musical Kaleidoscope presents a diverse programme of classical music.  This is a cross-continental collaboration of four female artists. Audrey Chung (SG), Carol Ng (SG), Er-Gene Kahng (US), and Samantha Ege (UK) lead with repertoire from different cultures and eras.   The programme seeks to bring new experiences to its audience.  The theme of women’s empowerment in classical music continues with the Asian premiere of Doreen Carwithen’s Concerto for Piano and Strings.

Musical Kaleidoscope aligns with Music For People’s vision to inspire the lives of people through professional music making with the community for the community. Up to 70% of concert proceeds will go towards music education programmes that serve under-privileged citizens. Music For People advocates that the blessing of music must go beyond the concert hall.
