In celebration of 55 years of Singapore–Japan relations, this special exhibition displays masterworks of woodblock printing and photography, taking viewers through a tale of two popular cities – Edo, today’s Tokyo, and Kyoto, the old imperial capital.
Journey into life during Edo-period Japan (1603–1868) through colourful woodblock prints depicting fascinating trends and lifestyles; and explore the sights of present-day Kyoto, including a peek into the lives of geisha, through the lens of Singaporean photographer Russel Wong.
