Fondly known as SPB or Balu Sir the music legend needs no introduction to any Indian film and music lover with his numerous accomplishments of recording 40,000 songs in 16 Indian languages, the Guinness World Record for recording the most number of film scores, six National Film Awards for Best Male Playback Singer, numerous Filmfare and state awards. Balu Sir is also honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award (2016), and civilian awards such as Padmashri (2001) and Padma Bhushan (2011) from the Government of India.



K S Chitra is a Carnatic musician who also sings Indian classical, devotional, and popular music. She has lent her voice to Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Badaga, Sanskrit, Tulu, Urdu and Punjabi songs. Through a career spanning more than three decades, she has recorded over 20,000 songs. She is a recipient of six National Film Awards (the most by any female singer), five Filmfare Awards South and 31 different state film awards. She has won all the four south Indian state film awards.


K.J Yesudas

Legendary Indian musician Dr.K.J.Yesudas, though a Malayali by origin won millions of hearts across the country with his mesmerizing vocals and fantastic sense of music. Yesudas won the National Award for the Best Male Playback Singer record eight times, the Filmfare Awards five times, and the State Award for the Best Playback Singer forty-three times, including awards given by the state governments of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and West Bengal. Through a career spanning more than 5 decades, he has recorded over 80,000 songs. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1977, the Padma Bhushan in 2002, and the Padma Vibhushan (second-highest civilian award) in 2017 by the Government of India for his contributions towards the arts.
