Singapore's premier outdoor music and arts festival Neon Lights is back with yet another stellar line-up of music's biggest and most eminent acts across two nights!
Saturday 23rd November
Brit and Grammy-Award winner Mumford & Sons headlines day one of the festival with their first and only show in Singapore.
Joining Mumford & Sons is British electronic-soul act HONNE. Having previously played to sold out shows in Singapore, HONNE is back by popular demand and is sure to put up another set that will leave the audience wanting for more.
Described as a 'chameleonic curator of global sounds', innovative multi-instrumentalist Mura Masa will play his first Singapore show at Neon Lights. His appetite for diverse experimentation brought him his first Grammy Award for his remix of Haim's Walking Away.
Other acts to catch include psychedelic rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, indie-pop breakout Cuco, newcomer AndreaH who has opened for Sam Smith and The Script, local folk-blues quartet Shak & The Baits and the upbeat Mariachi Viva Mexico.
Sunday 24th November
Day 2's bill is helmed by Grammy nominee Halsey who's known for her unapologetic lyrics and multi-platinum hits such as Ghost, Closer (x The Chainsmokers), Him & I and Eastside (x Benny Blanco and Khalid). Her 2018 record-breaking single Without Me is the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist in this century. Neon Lights will be Halsey's only stop in Southeast Asia and the talented singer who's gearing up for her next album later this year, promises a a raw and cathartic set.
Nick Murphy, previously known as Chet Faker, makes his highly anticipated return to Singapore after three years. The dynamic artist released his sophomore album Run Fast Sleep Naked earlier this year, and has played sold out concerts around the world. Charismatic both on and off-stage, Nick Murphy is expected to cover the work of his two albums - as Nick Murphy and Chet Faker. .
Playing on the same day is electro-pop artist AURORA. Often compared to her own idol Björk, the prolific singer-songwriter is characterized by her alluring crisp voice and enigmatic personality.
Not to be missed as well is the ever-ingenious Canadian instrumental quartet BADBADNOTGOOD who makes their triumphant return to Neon Lights after their resounding set in 2016.
Rounding up the night's line-up are synth-pop producer Gus Dapperton, DJ collective Fleetmac Wood, electronic music duo Cosmo's Midnight, and electric-indie pair joan and local funk band MMLD.
A smattering of festival-favourites such as Silent Disco, Neon Nooks and gourmet food and drinks will also return. More of the arts and family-friendly programmes will be announced.
Neon Lights is one of the most eagerly anticipated lifestyle events of the year. The three previous editions of the festival have attracted over 30,000 people and seen acts such as Damien Rice, Sigur Ros, Foals, Interpol and Yuna.
