Kehlani - Live in Singapore
Synopsis

LAMC Productions is beyond thrilled to announce that Grammy-Award Nominated Critically Acclaimed R&B songstress, KEHLANI will perform in Singapore, for the first time on Wednesday, 23 May, 2018 at Zepp @ Big Box Singapore!

Kehlani’s show in Singapore will celebrate her highly anticipated debut album, ‘SweetSexySavage’ as well as her other iconic hits from her entire discography. Kehlani went on her first arena tour recently, as a special guest on Demi Lovato’s Tell Me You Love Me World Tour, which is due to end on Mar 31, 2018.  Up next, she will also be supporting Halsey in her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour (Oceanian leg.)

Kehlani embodies the title of her 2017 full-length debut album, SWEETSEXYSAVAGE The GRAMMY® Award-nominated critically acclaimed R&B songstress breathes life into those three words, and they represent a moment of self-actualization.

She tells it like it is. Whether in conversation or on stage, the Oakland-born R&B singer and songwriter gives the straight truth about her life, pain, passion, love, triumph, and everything in between with collected calm and confidence. This sincerity has become Kehlani’s signature since the 2014 release of her debut mixtape Cloud 19. At 19-years-old, she opened up even more on 2015’s You Should Be Here. After bowing at #5 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and at #1 on the iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart, the mixtape garnered a 2016 GRAMMY® Award nod for “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” Upon release, Pitchfork praised how, “You Should Be Here’s dynamism and generosity is something to be amazed by,” while Billboard proclaimed it, “The year’s first great R&B album.” It landed on Complex’s “Best Albums of 2015,” Noisey’s “50 Best Albums of 2015,” and Rolling Stone’s “20 Best R&B Albums of 2017.”

Meanwhile, everybody from G-Eazy and Zayn to Post Malone and Pusha T sought her out for guest appearances and she contributed her very first RIAA certified gold single “Gangster” to the platinum-certified #1 soundtrack of 2016, Suicide Squad: The Album. Almost immediately after You Should Be Here arrived, she began piecing together what would become SWEETSEXYSAVAGE, recording in Los Angeles as well as in Philadelphia. Her experience on the road made an indelible impact on the approach.

Emanating that confidence and charisma, she introduced SWEETSEXYSAVAGE with a series of undeniable tracks such as “CRZY” and “Advice”—which cumulatively amassed over 30 million Spotify streams in just a few months. The 90s-inspired swagger of “Distraction” impressively racked up over 3.2 million YouTube views in under 3 days. She kicked off 2017 unveiling the single “Undercover.” The track coasts from a hummable acoustic guitar into one of her biggest hooks yet, “They don’t wanna see it happen, but we say fuck it.”

Born a unique blend of ethnicities including African American, Caucasian, Native American, Spanish, and Filipino Native American Kehlani will casually tell you, “You’re lucky if you make it out of Oakland.” However, in her case, talent usurped luck. Months after her birth, Kehlani lost her father, never properly meeting him. Mired in drug addiction, her mom shuffled her to an aunt. She initially found solace in dance—ballet in particular—but a knee injury sidelined her what might’ve been a budding career as ballerina.

“That’s when I started singing,” she recalls. “When I was living with my aunt, she played me all of these powerful women and love songs. It was that Neo Soul-R&B, and I couldn’t get enough of it. It felt right to sing from the moment I began.”

Signing to Atlantic Records in early 2015 and releasing You Should Be Here and SweetSexySavage in 2017, Kehlani possesses the power to make an impac

The Piano Guys - Live in Singapore
LAMC Productions is excited to announce that global YouTube sensation, THE PIANO GUYS, will be returning to Singapore on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre. They will be performing their trademark classical renditions of today’s pop hits. What do you get when you mix up a marketing genius that does video, a studio engineer that writes music, a pianist that had a successful solo career, and a cellist that does pretty much everything? The Piano Guys: a miraculous meeting of “guys” with the same intrinsic purpose – to make a positive impact in the lives of people all over the world through music videos. The Piano Guys – Steven Sharp Nelson, Jon Schmidt, Al Van der Beek and Paul Anderson – became an online sensation by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos, which have far surpassed 1 billion views and garnered 6 million subscribers on YouTube. They’ve made over 50 music videos since 2011, including their breakout hit, an innovative multi-handed version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and a gorgeous reinvention of the hit song “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen. Christmas Together is the Utah-based classical-pop group’s seventh major label album on Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks, following: Wonders, The Piano Guys, The Piano Guys 2, A Family Christmas, The Piano Guys – Live! and Uncharted. The group originated as a social media strategy for Anderson's piano store, The Piano Guys, in St. George, Utah. Anderson was acquainted with Schmidt, a locally notable pianist who often came in to practice on the pianos when he was in town. In 2009, Anderson saw a music video that Schmidt had uploaded to YouTube, "Love Story Meets Viva la Vida" – a musical blend of the Taylor Swift country pop version and Coldplay's Baroque pop song "Viva la Vida", which Schmidt performed with Nelson on cello. That video logged more than one million hits. Anderson asked the musicians to do more videos that he would professionally film and upload to his store's Facebook and YouTube pages to promote his store. Nelson brought his neighbor, van der Beek, a songwriter and music arranger, onto the team. Tel Stewart initially assisted with video production. While the first few videos did not make much of an impact, "Michael Meets Mozart" (2010) gained a respectable showing after Schmidt invited the nearly 30,000 people on his fan mailing list "to watch it and share it". In June 2011 the group won the "Most Up-and-Coming Channel" award in the YouTube "On the Rise" contest, which brought 25,000 new subscribers to their channel. In 2011 and 2012, the group uploaded a new music video every week to two weeks, attracting thousands of new viewers each time. Meanwhile, The Piano Guys store did not register any piano sales from two years of posting videos, and closed in March 2012. ‘The Piano Guys’, ‘The Piano Guys 2’, ‘A Family Christmas’, ‘Wonders’, ‘Uncharted’, and ‘Christmas Together’, each reached number one on the Billboard Classical Albums and New Age Albums charts. The Piano Guys’ story is a miracle. Their mission will always be to produce music videos that inspire, uplift, and make the world a better place. If we can make a positive impact in even one person’s life it has all been worth it to us.

Stereophonics - Live in Singapore
LAMC Productions is thrilled to announce that one of  Britain’s best live acts & rock icons, STEREOPHONICS, will return to Singapore, following the release of their latest album ‘Scream Above The Sounds’ on Tuesday, 8 May, 2018 at Zepp @ BigBox Singapore!Rising from pubs to stadiums, Stereophonics’ accomplishments are near limitless. Six #1 albums. Eleven Top 10 singles, including the chart-topping ‘Dakota’. Headline sets at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, V and the Isle of Wight. Huge headline shows at Slane Castle, Edinburgh Castle and the Cardiff Community Stadium. Tours with David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Who and U2. When recently asked what he was listening to, Bob Dylan replied, “Stereophonics.”Twenty years after their debut Word Gets Around; Stereophonics’ tenth studio album released on October 27th via Parlophone Records follows Keep The Village Alive which went straight to #1 when it was released in 2015 and became their sixth chart-topper after Performance and Cocktails (1999), Just Enough Education To Perform (2001) You Gotta Go There To Come Back (2003), Language. Sex. Violence. Other? (2005) and Pull The Pin (2007).Scream Above The Sounds was primarily recorded in the band’s HQ in west London with a further session at RAK Studios. Created with the help of regular collaborator Jim Lowe, it’s an album in which creative sonic touches add to the band’s emphasis on songwriting and melody. While ‘Scream Above The Sounds’ doesn’t consciously reflect on the ‘Word Gets Around’ era, both ‘Before Anyone Knew Our Name’ and the lo-fi ‘Boy On A Bike’ suggest that looking back is the best way to move forward. Regarding the latter song, Kelly states, “That talks about when I grew up in a very small town and having that freedom of being on a bike on a white blanket of snow. That image is something I go back to, to calm myself down when it all gets a bit intense.”“Kelly Jones has got one of the damn finest voices in rock ‘n’ roll.” – ClashNow, founding members Kelly Jones (vocals/guitar) and Richard Jones (bass) are joined by the relative newcomers, Adam Zindani (guitar) and Jamie Morrison (drums), along with long-term live keyboardist Tony Kirkham. “It’s like when you think of Ronnie Wood being the new guitarist in The Stones,” laughs Kelly. “That new guy syndrome never wears off.”“There’s still no-one to touch them for rumbling rockers or perfectly-honed stadium ballads.”– Daily StarStereophonics'' debut album, Word Gets Around, was released in August 1997 and instantly charted at number six in the UK, aided by the singles "Local Boy in the Photograph", "More Life in a Tramps Vest" and "A Thousand Trees", all of which failed to affect the top 20. The band reached mainstream success with the release of Performance and Cocktails (and its promotional singles "The Bartender and the Thief", "Just Looking" and "Pick a Part That's New") in 1999 and have achieved a total of ten top-ten singles as well as one number-one: 2005''s "Dakota". The band have also been praised for their live performances, which have landed them headlining slots at many of the UK and Ireland's most high-profile music festivals, including Reading and Leeds in 2000, Glastonbury in 2002, V festival in 2002, the Isle of Wight in 2004 and 2009, and Oxegen in 2010. Stereophonics will be headlining 2 massive stadiums in Wales this summer along with headlining Scotland’s biggest festival TRNSMT and Britain’s newest 50,000 capacity festival RiZe.Each Stereophonics album attracts a new legion of young fans who are discovering them for the very first time. SQUEEZE - Live in Singapore
LAMC Productions is psyched to announce that iconic British new wave band, SQUEEZE will perform in Singapore, as part of their upcoming tour, on Friday, 4 May, 2018 at University Cultural Centre, NUS!The band are currently in the studio recording the follow up to 2015’s critically acclaimed ‘Cradle to the Grave’ which was written as a soundtrack to Danny Baker’s BBC TV sitcom ‘Cradle To Grave’ (starring Peter Kay).Yolanda, an accomplished session musician who has toured with the likes of Paul Weller, Eric Clapton and Hans Zimmer tells us “I’m so excited to be invited to play with Squeeze. The guys were a pleasure to record the new album with and I know playing the live shows will be a fantastic experience.” Steve, lead singer of Grammy award-winning electronica act Dirty Vegas, has previously supported Glenn Tilbrook on tour and has a deep personal connection with the band’s music, saying “I don't know how many musicians get the chance of a lifetime to join the very first band that they ever went to see in concert. I was fifteen went I first saw this band, now I get to be part of an incredible line up, who are not only great musicians but lovely human beings too.”“A crowd on their feet sang back new songs as though they were decades-old classics. *****” – The TimesSqueeze first formed in 1973, shortly after Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook had begun their songwriting partnership, brought together by an ad in a sweetshop window. By 1977 they had made their recording debut and enjoyed a string of hits which lasted until 1982, the maturity of their songs outliving their initial burst of chart activity on the back of New Wave. Over the years there have been solo careers and occasional separations, but the Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriting duo Chris and Glenn reunited ten years ago to relaunch Squeeze and have been touring, writing and recording together since. The band has long been a captivating live act, and this year triumphed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury with The Guardian saying they “[went] down a storm… Squeeze’s success is a pretty infectious thing” and Acoustic magazine concluding that “they don’t have the bombastic hype of headliners Coldplay, but they have the songcraft and lyrical majesty to leave the headliners in the dust which they duly did.”“Difford and Tilbrook deliver a rousing reminder of their talent for tuneful and touching glimpses of everyday life. ****” – Live review, The GuardianAs well as a vast catalogue including hits such as ‘Cool For Cats’, ‘Up The Junction’ and ‘Tempted’, they also have Cradle To The Grave to draw on, their first collection of new tracks since 1998. This album marked the complete and, frankly, triumphant reintegration of the masterful songwriting axis of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, in a beautifully-observed series of fond vignettes about childhood, growing up and the absurdities of the ride through life we’re all on.The album was written as a soundtrack to Danny Baker’s BBC TV sitcom ‘Cradle To Grave’ which starred Peter Kay. The lyrics were based on his autobiography about growing up in South London in the 1970s ‘Going To Sea In A Sieve’, which Chris and Glenn could relate to from their own experiences. The current line-up will feature founder member Glenn Tilbrook, long-standing touring members Stephen Large & Simon Hanson, and the new addition of bassist Yolanda Charles and Steve Smith on percussion.
