Australia’s biggest comedy festival is coming back to Singapore!

Get ready for a taste of Australia’s largest comedy festival live in Singapore! The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow returns with fantastically funny artists from Australia’s biggest and best-loved comedy festival. Showcasing stand-up, sketch, satire and more, this side-splitting show is the highlight of the comedy calendar. You know you’re in for a night of exceptional entertainment - all aboard the Roadshow!

Featuring the Aus/NZ's bright & bubbly Cal Wilson; charismatic 'true blue Aussie' Nick Cody; the relatable & hilarious Mel Buttle; Indian rising star Rahul Subramanian and Sri Lankan born, Aussie-loved Dilruk Jayasinha.

On the line-up:

Cal Wilson
Cal moved from New Zealand in 2003 and is now one of Australia's most popular comedians, a favourite on TV shows such as Have You Been Paying Attention?, Spicks and Specks and Good News Week. Her stand up is engaging and hilarious, often bringing the audience's stories to life alongside her own. Cal worked in the sought-after writers room for The Weekly with Charlie Pickering before landing a dream job in the ensemble for Whose Line Is It Anyway? Australia, alongside some of the country's brightest improvisers.

Dilruk Jayasinha
After moving from Sri Lanka at the age of 19, Dilruk was well on his way toward making his parents proud using his finance and accounting degree. However, in 2009 he was unceremoniously fired by one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms. Dil then promptly jumped up for his first gig in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.
On top of being invited to perform all over Australia, Dil has headlined internationally in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore. He’s performed at seven Melbourne International Comedy Festivals including sold-out shows in 2017/2018.

Nick Cody
At only 30 years of age, Nick has headlined comedy clubs all over the globe, made his US late night TV debut on Conan, performed at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, appeared on comedy galas in Australia and played to full houses on his solo stand-up tours. Nick has travelled extensively with the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow and Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase tours, and been handpicked to support some of the biggest names in comedy including Jim Jefferies, Bill Burr & Anthony Jeselnik.

Mel Buttle
Mel Buttle is a hilarious bundle of contradictions, rapidly making herself felt across TV and the live circuit. Alongside hit live shows Mel is a seasoned writer, with a weekly column in Queensland's The Courier Mail and TV credits including Please Like Me and This Week Live. Mel has appeared across Australian TV on programs such as The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and The Project, and is a regular on New Zealand's weekly program 7 Days. In 2015 Mel found out she can have her cake and eat it too, scoring the job of co-host on The Great Australian Bake Off for Foxtel’s LifeStyle Channel.

Rahul Subramanian
Mumbai-bred Tamil rising star Rahul Subramanian started out with an MBA before pursuing open-mic comedy as a New Year's resolution. His goofy stage persona has won favour with judges, taking out the Pajama Fest, Canvas Club and East India Comedy Virgin Pants open mic competitions. Much to his own surprise, he managed all this without bribing the judges. Rahul made his Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in 2018, delighting audiences with his solo hour as well as in the prestigious Indian Allstar Comedy Showcase.
