Fariz Jabba
Fariz Jabba is a 24-year-old Malay-English Singaporean rapper. He started his career by posting home videos of freestyle raps and remixes that went viral on social media, trending the Fariz Jabba name in Singapore and Malaysia within months of his first upload. The online attention gained Fariz Jabba a signing with Singaporean hip hop label MADEYOUFAMOUS and a spot on rap veteran Joe Flizzow’s online YouTube series, 16 Baris. Less than a year later, Jabba was invited to perform for Urbanscapes, IGNITE! Music Festival, Shine Festival, and Baybeats, to name a few. To date, Fariz Jabba has garnered over 3 million YouTube views on his singles Ape Sia and Masa, and accumulated almost 4 million streams on Spotify. Fusing old and new strains of Hip Hop and R&B, the rapper, singer, and dancer is making his mark as an artistic force to be reckoned with. The triple threat signed with Def Jam South East Asia in 2019. Fariz Jabba has worked with Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, HUGO, and is a part of the Nike family.
Mediocre Haircut Crew
omarKENOBI, mickeyLEANO and daniKIDDO met in school and went on to form Mediocre Haircut Crew after realising they were good at putting rhyme to rhythm. The group is heavily influenced by 90’s Hip Hop plus a wide range of alternative music, and just as how their moniker points to the state of their previous haircuts, the boys always deliver their brand of Hip Hop with honesty and are never afraid to speak their minds.
THELIONCITYBOY
THELIONCITYBOY is a Singapore son, homegrown rapper, producer, and songwriter. He shines a spotlight on Singaporean stories, from growing up in Ang Mo Kio to clubbing on Boat Quay. He is known for his high energy, crowd-shaking live performances at events such as the Singapore Grand Prix, NDP 2019, and opened for KYLE during The Lightspeed World Tour. His 2016 album Paradise reached #1 on iTunes, with the single ‘YAYA (feat. Benjamin Kheng)’ appearing on Spotify Singapore’s Viral 50 Chart and ranking 15th on local radio station 987FM charts. In early 2020, the rapper released his first single under Sony Music Entertainment Singapore entitled Could Be Worse. Aimed at injecting some light-heartedness during trying times, the song is part of THELIONCITYBOY’s commitment to inspiring a stronger Singapore and beyond. THELIONCITYBOY hopes to be an inspiring voice to younger artists. He constantly pushes boundaries not just for himself, but also his community and country.
