A critically acclaimed show that earned a nomination at the 63rd Tony Awards as "Best Special Theatrical Event” and nominated for 54th "Drama Desk Award”, it has held more than 500 performances worldwide in such countries as the US, Australia, Italy, Norway, India, Korea, Turkey, Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Turkey; a production performed by monks from the Shaolin Temple.

Soul of Shaolin: Hui Guang's Story is a stirring portrait of the life of a Shaolin monk. The tale begins with a woman who is forced to abandon her son during wartime; child named Hui Guang saved, raised and thought kung fu by highly skilled monk from Shaolin Temple. Woman survived and desperately searching for her son for years. On one occasion, both met one another… Will Hui Guang be reunited with his mother? Will Hui Guang choose to remain in the Shaolin Temple?

This kung fu production is performed by Shaolin kung fu monks, portraying the different aspects and essence of Shaolin kung fu.

Come celebrate Lunar New Year 2018 with local popular ge-tai singers Liu Ling Ling 刘玲玲, Chen Jian Bin 陈建彬, Wang Lei 王雷, Hao Hao 皓皓, Lin Ru Ping 林茹萍, Xu Qiong Fang 许琼芳, Zheng Ying Ying 郑盈盈, Bao Bei Sisters 宝贝姐妹 and Xie Liang Zi 谢亮子at Resort World Theatre for an enjoyable concert filled with fun, laughter and good songs. Liu Ling Ling, host-singer-actress, well known to many as the versatile host for the lunar Seventh Month ge-tai stage shows. She had acted in several Mediacorp's TV drama serial and is the leading actress for the well-received local movie 881 and十二莲花 which has brought her fame in Asian as well as in Europe. Chen Jian Bin, well known as the King of Getai host, has hosted many lunar Seventh Month ge-tai stage shows.He is also the excellent host for Mediacorp's most popular variety programme 黄金年华之斗歌竞艺. Besides hosting and singing, Marcus also acted in several block buster movies such as 大世界, 美好冤家, 结婚那件事, 套and more Wang Lei, singer-host-actor, holds a unique image & trademark of wearing a hat that resembles the popular Taiwan singer 陈雷. He is an also excellent host for the lunar Seventh Month ge-tai stage shows, dinner shows and many outdoor shows. He also acted in several movies 我们的故事, 遇见贵人, 狮神决战 and many more. Hao Hao, singer-host-actor, with a versatile vocal that can impersonate male and female voices that woo the hearts of many people and had established a strong fan base. Hao Hao had won the Most Popular Ge-tai Male Singer for year 2016 and 2017 in the Singapore Ge-tai award presentation. Lin Ru Ping and Xu Qiong Fang are both multi-talented hosts and actress who had been in this industry for more than 10 years and have acted in several local TV drama series. Zheng Ying Ying, singer-comedian-host, break into the entertainment industry when she took part in Mediacorp’s "The Ultimate Comedian" and was talent scouted by local director Jack Neo. Bao Bei Sisters, singer-host, ventured into the local singing scene at the age of 17 and 14. This singing duo had won the Most Popular Female Singer award for the year 2013 in the Singapore Ge-tai award presentation. They are also the backup vocal for the late veteran singer Guo Ling Feng. Xie Liang Zi, popular singer from Guangzhou who is now married to a Singaporean, had released more than 10 albums to her credits. Her song 哪里有我的家 was chosen as the theme song for the China drama serial 孽债 in 1995 bringing her fame not only in China but also in Singapore.
