Parampara Music Festival 2019 is one of the greatest Hindustani Classical Music program of the year in Singapore. The festival will present:1. Sitar Recital by Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee, accompanied on Tabla by Pandit Abhijit Banerjee2. Tabla Recital by Pandit Kumar Bose, accompanied on Sarangi by Sarwar HussainLegendary Sitar and Surbahar maestro from India, Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee will be presenting Sitar recital for the first time in Singapore. Pandit Mukherjee, the first ever artist in history to perform in the House of Commons, London, has been proclaimed as the "sitar artist of the century". He is recognized by his intricate and mesmerising Gayaki Ang (vocal) style of Sitar playing, complemented by spectacular high speed crescendo. He will be accompanied on Tabla by world renowned Tabla exponent, Pandit Abhijit Banerjee. Second highlight of Parampara Music Festival 2019 will be Tabla recital by legendary Tabla maestro Pandit Kumar Bose. Famous for his bold, melodious Tabla strokes and his majestic presentations, Pandit Bose has been rightfully proclaimed as one of the greatest Tabla artists of modern India. The music festival will provide a unique opportunity to watch Pandit Kumar Bose’s first ever solo performance in Singapore.
