LA Comedy Live is excited to announce that the iconic winner of Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 2, ALASKA 5000, will be bringing her anticipated performance to Singapore on Aug 27, 2019 at Shine Auditorium!Don’t miss this show as Alaska, brings us her chart topping hits and witty banter.Alaska 5000 is the stage name of Justin Honard, an American drag performer and recording artist. Alaska is best known for competing in the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she was a runner-up and later being crowned as the winner of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.Honard originally moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Dissatisfied with the auditioning process, he turned to drag and got a job at the West Hollywood club, Fubar. He frequently performed in the Trannyshack shows in Los Angeles.It was announced in November 2012 that Alaska was among 14 drag queens who would be competing on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. He had previously auditioned every season for the show. In May 2013, during the season finale, Jinkx Monsoon was declared the winner and Alaska was declared the runner-up of the season, along with fellow competitor Roxxxy Andrews.In 2016, Alaska returned to Drag Race for the second season of Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars and was crowned the winner.Since appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race, Honard has toured and performed consistently, appearing in RuPaul's Drag Race Battle of the Seasons shows, the Drag Stars at Sea cruises, custom shows such as a Stevie Nicks tribute called "Stevie Forever", a cabaret show called "Red for Filth", and a holiday show called "Blue Christmas".

From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience brings you back in time to discover key moments and watch defining events unfold in Singapore’s transformation from as far back as 1299. As the centrepiece of the Singapore Bicentennial in 2019, this event comprises 2 parts:The Time Traveller is a 60-minute immersive multimedia show within the Fort Canning Centre that presents a powerful experience of Singapore’s history across more than 700 years. Visitors will go through five acts played out in the galleries.The Pathfinder is an outdoor experience comprising a set of pavilions with interactive elements that are situated within the Fort Gate area to allow for free and easy exploration. Visitors may spend another 30 minutes or longer here.
