Synopsis

Following last year’s hugely successful and sold out ‘The Best of West End – Live in Singapore!’ with Broadway and West End star Earl Carpenter, here’s another chance to experience another best loved musical theatre singer from the United Kingdom – Annette Yeo in ‘The Best of West End – Encore!’.

This exclusive evening is perfect for any musical theatre lover as Annette has starred in Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, City of Angels, Love Never Dies, Blood Brothers and Mamma Mia! and that’s just the start of her many credits.

Annette will be joined by special guest, veteran West End performer, Kieran Brown, recently seen in Three Phantoms at the MES Theatre at MediaCorp. They will be joined by the fantastic local a cappella group, The Notes.

For one night only and with limited availability, this original cast member of Mamma Mia and her guests, will be sharing stories and performing songs from the roles that have made her one of the best loved musical theatre singers in the West End. There will be a few well-known Christmas songs too to get you in the seasonal mood!

About Annette Yeo Performer


Annette’s West End credits include: Original casts of Love Never Dies (Adelphi Theatre); Mamma Mia (Prince Edward Theatre) playing alternately the role of Donna; Sondheim’s Passion (Queen’s Theatre); and the award-winning City Of Angels (Prince Of Wales Theatre) in the Angel City Four Quartet.

She played Madame Giry in 20th Anniversary cast of The Phantom Of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre); appeared in the acclaimed revival of Kiss Me Kate (Victoria Palace Theatre) taking over as Kate; and Fantine and Factory Girl in Les Misérables (Palace Theatre).

In 2012 she played Mrs Snoring in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas (Lowry Theatre, Manchester); and Mrs Wade in Bernstein’s Wonderful Town (Royal Exchange Theatre with the Halle Orchestra). She also appears in the new blockbuster movie of Les Misérables.

Other Roles include: Miss Bell in Fame (Edinburgh Playhouse); Mrs Lyons in Blood Brothers (National Tour); Mrs Walker in Tommy (National Tour); Susan in Company (Derby Playhouse); The Witch in Into The Woods and Lily in The Secret Garden (Byre Theatre); Berkeley Square (BBC); The Royal Variety Show (BBC); and Lillian in Happy End (Bridewell Theatre).

Concerts include: The Rest Is Noise (Purcell Room, South Bank Centre); The 25th Anniversary Phantom Concert (Royal Albert Hall); A Touch Of West End (Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai); 10th Anniversary Les Misérables Concert (Royal Albert Hall) original cast albums of Mamma Mia, City of Angels and Passion.

In 2014 she toured the UK with Three Phantoms as singer and Resident Director and filmed scenes from London Road for Cuba Pictures, as well as completing her solo album 'For Once In My Life'.

Last year she appeared in the workshop performance of a new musical Sleepless In Seattle, and also The Station MasterThis is Also England and Just A Man, which is a new season of British Musicals at the Tristan Bates Theatre, Covent Garden.

About Kieran Brown Performer


Kieran trained at the RSAMD in Glasgow and recently completed 2 years understudying the Phantom in Phantom Of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre London.

Previous credits include Wicked (Apollo Victoria); Love Never Dies (Adelphi Theatre London & Ronacher Theatre Vienna); Les Misérables (Palace Theatre & O2 Arena); Pipe Dream (Union Theatre); Laughter In the Rain (UK no. 1 tour); The Thorn Birds (UK no.1 Tour); Tick Tick Boom!, The Importance Of Being Earnest, The Woman In Black (International Theatre Vienna); Over The Threshold (Edinburgh, London & Vienna).

TV credits include Taggart (STV); Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) (BBC), Anatomy of An Enigma (Channel 4) and Andrew Marr’s Great Scots - James Boswell (BBC) playing the lead role of Boswell. Recent workshops include Screaming Secrets (a new play by Alexander Matthews), Stealing Mona Lisa (Lawrence Mark Wythe), and Rehab by Elliot Davis & Grant Black.

Recording credits include You Are Home - the music of Anderson & Petty, As Long As I Have Music (Eyles & Gould), Self Taught Still Learning (Chris Passey), Love Lies & Lyrics (Lesley Ross), Words Shared With Friends (Robert Gould).

Kieran has performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and created several sold out cabarets including My Big Fat MUSICAL Cabaret, A West End Christmas in…, and Once Upon A Song.

He is a Patron of BITA (Birmingham Institute of Theatre Arts) and a founding member of The Barricade Boys.
