Mosaic Music Series It's All Here Somewhere By Hanging Up The Moon
Just like nothing that happens is ever lost if you hold it in your mind, It's All Here Somewhere is a repository of poignant memories, unspoken fears, and faltering hope. Hanging Up The Moon launches their fourth and latest album as part of Mosaic Music Series. Hanging Up The Moon started off as the solo project of Sean Lam, ex-frontman of Concave Scream, one of Singapore's pioneer indie bands. Recorded entirely in his study in the wee hours of the morning, his self-titled debut album was a stripped-down affair. Its quiet sound captivating both critics and listeners alike. In the albums that followed, Hanging Up The Moon explored different soundscapes with the help of good friends and fellow veterans of the Singapore music scene: Alexius Cai (Piblokto), Dean Aziz (Concave Scream), Leslie Low (The Observatory) and Victor Low (Affixen). On his latest album, Lam is joined once again by longtime collaborators Alexius Cai, Dean Aziz and Victor Low. It's All Here Somewhere also features Darren Ng (SONICBRAT) and Andy Chia (SA) on selected tracks. Mixed and produced by Victor Low and mastered by James Plotkin. The 180g heavyweight vinyl is pressed at Record Industry with album art by Dan Gries.

Mosaic Music Series The Steve McQueens "TAPE" Asia Tour Launch Concert
“If there is one thing you need to know about The Steve McQueens is that they can take your breath away without breaking sweat”– Ziggy magazine“If you gravitate toward a mix of electronic and acoustic and you get your kicks from listening to the bold new waves of Hiatus Kaiyote and Snarky Puppy; if you like the virtuosic percussive technique of Chris “Daddy” Dave, your sonic delights topped up with a sprinkle of Fender Rhodes; if you mix your smooth with the jaggedy-edgy, then you will most likely dig The Steve McQueens.”– Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick from IncognitoTape obfuscates. Tape covers up. It censors and erases. Hide.Tape repairs. It mends and holds together the broken. Heal.Tape records. It preserves our deepest darkness for a brighter day. History.Esplanade Mosaic Associate Artist The Steve McQueens kick off their ‘TAPE’ Asia Tour with their only stop in Singapore at the Esplanade Recital Studio, before bringing their neofuture jazz sound to Japan.  On their 4th Asia tour, they present fan favourites and previously unreleased material as they prepare their next album TAPE.The Steve McQueens formed in Singapore in 2013 as a forging of four mercurial talents—Ginny Bloop (vocals), Joshua Wan (keyboards), Jase Sng (bass), and Aaron James Lee (drums). Critically acclaimed, with the fervent backing of Incognito guitarist and producer Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick, The Steve McQueens leave an indomitable mark on any listener with their jazz-infused neo-soul, a groove-based hybrid of tightly arranged and freely improvised sounds.Mosaic Associate Artists are exceptional musicians at the forefront of their genres, whom Esplanade has committed to providing tailored, intensive support.

Chinese Chamber Music Sublime Strings - The Erhu Masterworks of Liu Tianhua 天籁升华 - 刘天华二胡作品音乐会
Accomplished Singapore erhu musician Darrel Xin presents his interpretations of Liu Tianhua’s deeply influential erhu works, including Moaning in Sickness, Flickering Candlelight, A Beautiful Night, and Birds Singing in a Desolate Mountain.Across the sprawling plains of erhu music, one body of work stands tall as a monumental landmark—the erhu solos of Liu Tianhua, a prominent composer, musician and music teacher. Composed between 1915 and 1932, these masterful solo pieces redefined the role of the erhu and elevated the instrument to the concert stage, the conservatory classroom, and into the future. A perfect marriage of East and West, Liu’s 10 innovative works utilised techniques previously unheard of in Chinese instrumental music. Standing the test of time, they are now learnt and studied by all erhu musicians.About Darrel XinDarrel Xin started learning the erhu in 1995. He was a member of the SAF Music & Drama Company and a musician with the Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, the Macau Chinese Orchestra and has guest performed with the China Central Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra.
