Momotaro - The Peach Boy
A Fantastic Family Adventure for all ages!
In a brand new adaptation for theatre, Momotaro - The Peach Boy shines new light on a classic hero from Japanese folklore. The story of Momotaro is one of positive family values, bravery, and a giant peach. This exciting adventure has now undergone a marvellous transformation, and is spectacularly brought to life with a fusion of Japanese and World puppetry, Live Action, Music and Theatre Magic.
Momotaro - The Peach Boy is a thrilling epic of idealism, friendship, heroism, daring deeds, growing up, and comic misadventures! This wonderfully enjoyable production takes a young boy and his faithful friends on a quest to find the island of the evil Oni, and to return the riches that they have stolen from the poor villagers.
Our first production in a new and much larger venue - the Singapore Airlines Theatre located at the LaSalle College of the Arts - offers the audience a whole new and amazing experience! It will be I Theatre’s biggest and most spectacular production his year.
Momotaro - The Peach Boy is live theatre at its best!
The show runs at 75 minutes (plus a 15-minute interval) and is recommended for everyone aged 4 to 94.
The NAC Arts Education Programme supports this programme.
