Over the centuries, the Viennese Court attracted great musicians like Isaac, de Monte, Fux, Caldara, Gluck, Salieri, Mozart, and Bruckner; Joseph Haydn, Michael Haydn, and Franz Schubert were themselves choir boys. Until 1918, the boys sang exclusively for the court. In the 1920s, the choir was reestablished as a private organisation. Professor Gerald Wirth is the its Artistic Director, and its president.Today, there are 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs. Each choir spends nine to eleven weeks of the academic year on tour. Together, the choirs give around 300 concerts each year, attended by almost half a million spectators around the world. The choir regularly tours Europe, Asia and Australia, and the Americas. The choir’s repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary music. The Swiss Army Romance set the tone for the band’s massive impact on both their fans and the media alike, including SPIN, Alternative Press, MTV, among many others. Carrabba molded simple acoustics with passionate, personal wordplay on his 2000 debut, Swiss Army Romance, and a devout audience began to gather around the naked honesty of his lyrics.By late 2000, Carrabba was free to devote his undivided time to Dashboard Confessional and by then, three other musicians had joined the band, including former Further Seems Forever bandmate Jerry Castellanos. Their breakthrough second album 2002’s The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most included the trademark single “Screaming Infidelities”, yielding their first gold certified album and peaking at #5 on Billboard’s Top 200. Later that same year, the single won the MTV2 Award at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards. Their third album A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar gave them their first Top Ten Modern Rock single “Hands Down” and reached #2 on the Top 200. “The emo renaissance could be en route, in part because of the stellar return of Dashboard Confessional”. - Live in Limbo To date, Dashboard Confessional has a platinum album with their live release MTV Unplugged, three RIAA certified gold-selling albums (Swiss Army Romance, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar), and has had numerous songs featured on TV (Cougar Town,One Tree Hill, Scrubs, All My Children, Laguna Beach, NCIS, Cold Case, Clone High). The band also collaborated with Alternative music producer, Nothing, nowhere earlier this year and released hit single, ‘Hopes Up’.Dashboard Confessional’s current lineup includes Chris Carrabba on vocals, Scott Schoenbeck on bass, Arnon Jay on guitar and Ben Homola on drums & percussion. This is a show not to be missed!

Known for its excellent mix of progressive metal stylings with heartfelt vocals and thought-provoking lyrics, the album was also voted as Loudwire's Metal Madness award for best metal album of all time in 2013.The band embarked on the first leg of the "Images, Words & Beyond 25th Anniversary Tour" by kicking things off with two sold-out nights at Rome, Italy's Auditorium Parco Della Musica."Combining old classics with new cuts, Dream Theater demonstrates why they've managed to stick around all these years." - Pop MattersDream Theater's three decades of continually redefining the parameters of hard rock and progressive heavy metal, overcoming obstacles, surpassing critical expectations, and resisting the incessant winds of industry uncertainty. Staying an exciting course in a sea littered with also-rans, pretenders, and opportunists, Dream Theater's body of work endures with singular triumph.Originally named Majesty by Berklee College of Music students Petrucci, bassist John Myung, and drummer Mike Portnoy, the band soon expanded with the addition of keyboard player Kevin Moore and vocalist Chris Collins. Releasing an eigh--tune demo, Majesty Demo, as Majesty, the group sold 1,000 copies within six months. The departure of Collins in late 1986 left Majesty without a vocalist, and after a long period of auditioning possible replacements, the group settled on Charlie Dominici in November 1987. Changing its name, the group agreed on "Dream Theater," inspired by a now-demolished California movie theater.Following a couple of changes over the years, Dream Theater's current lineup includes John Petrucci on guitar, John Myung on bass, James LaBrie on vocals, Jordan Rudess on keyboards and continuum and Mike Mangini on drums. Dream Theater released their latest studio album, The Astonishing in January 2016 to generally favourable reviews and debuted in the top ten of nine countries and became the first Dream Theater album to reach number one on the US Billboard Rock Chart."Prog-metal heroes go all the way on an epic rock opera with The Astonishing" - Rolling Stones
