The Singapore Heart Foundation’s Go Red for Women (GRFW) campaign is part of an international movement led by the American Heart Association & the World Heart Federation, which aims to empower women with the knowledge and tools so as to reduce their risks of cardiovascular disease.
This Mother’s Day, join us at the Healthy Mummy, Healthy Family Symposium on Saturday, 6th May 2017 for an enriching symposium, conducted by experts. A cardiologist will speak about women and heart disease, while a dietitian will share some nutrition tips for the family. Among other interactive activities, the half-day event will also include a lucky draw and a buffet lunch.
A special highlight is the Hearty Bento Workshop, conducted by Singapore’s top bento artist, Ms Shirley Wong aka Little Miss Bento! The workshop (limited to 60 seats only) will provide each participant with a basic introduction to create creative lunch boxes that are healthy and delicious.
In addition, health-related products and equipment will be featured at the exhibition booths. All participants will receive an exclusive door gift worth $50 (limited to one per person only)!

- No admission for infants in arms and children below 9 years old
- Children 9 years old and above must purchase a ticket for entry
- Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance

Topic: Women and Heart Disease: Are You at Risk?
Heart disease and stroke combined, is the leading cause of death and disability in women, hence it is important to be aware of the risk factors. This talk covers early detection of heart disease and recognising its risk factors, alongside with tips on how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
