LA Comedy Live is thrilled to announce that Israeli comedians, SHAHAR HASON & YOHAY SPONDER will be bringing their hilarious stand-up to Singapore, as part of the Asia International Comedy Festival, for the very first time on 10 September, 2017 at Kallang Theatre!
Fans can expect endless entertainment, as these two comics talk about all things - from their Israeli background to relationships.
The A list of Israeli Comic, Shahar has been tackling the English stages of the World in recent years. Shahar is known to offer a fun, loving, caring and honest perspective on all things.
Hason has been on the stand-up stage since the late 1990s and was a member of "Ma Kashar". He then performed at the Camel Comedy Club.
In the framework of his studies at Yoram Levinstein's acting studio, he has produced many productions, including Shakespeare's "Amal Love in vain," which was also successfully performed at the International Shakespeare Festival in Germany, and in the play "Kishoniyada," composed of Ephraim Kishon's sketches. He has also participated in the "Shifango Improvisation" show with other actors, and in "Stand Up into the Night" with Adam Sharon, Yossi Trabelos, Amiram Tovim and Yaron Berald.
He also took part in Ilan Shoshan's "Foreign Guests" project, participated in field reports on Y program at ten and played a terrorist in the "Basic Training" series.
Hasson, along with stand-up comedians Yossi Trabelos and Amiram Tovim, hosted a program every Thursday night at 100 NFM. He also wrote jokes for television programs and wrote skits for "exit."
At the end of 2006, he had a fixed spot on the "Zofit" program of Zofit Grant on Channel 10. In 2007, the program "Limited Edition" appeared on the Beep channel, in which Hasson participates as a regular panel member. In November 2007, the Telenovela "Dolls" was broadcast on HOT Channel 3, in which he participates as a fashion designer named Herzl. In 2008, Hasson began to participate in the "Laughter from Work" program on Channel 2, and on the Independence Day of that year, Hasson won 11th place on Ynet's "Most Funny People in Israel" list.
Yohay Sponder is a ridiculously funny comedian from Israel, that allows us a peak into his problems in the funniest way.
Yohay speaks bluntly about relationships, marriage, sex, and other life routines.
His show has an energetic show that opens the head, the heart and lowers many tears from the eyes.In recent years, Sponder has participated in many television and radio programs in Israel and around the world.
He currently serves a weekly stand-up comedy at Shai and Dror on non-stop radio and hosts a radio program in English with Shahar Hasson. In addition to his activities in Israel, Sponder has been practicing for a number of years a successful international career - behind him three tours in the US and in Europe.
He has appeared as a guest artists at the famous Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, was involved in the Free Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland and participated in 3 Stand-up programs in the U.S called West Coast Comedy.
