Synopsis

LAMC Productions is proud to announce that the Original voice of Skid Row, Musical Royalty, SEBASTIAN BACH, will perform in Singapore, as part of his upcoming tour, on October 18, 2017 at Kallang Theatre!

Hailed as one of the finest front men to come out of the late 80's / early 90's with one hell of a voice, Sebastian Bach is the personification of pure rock and roll at its finest!

A veteran of short-lived, little-known bands including  Herrenvolk, Madame X, V05, and Kid Wikkid, he was living in Canada when in 1987 he received a demo tape from an unknown New Jersey band in search of a lead singer for Skid Row, formed a year earlier by ex-Bon Jovi guitarist Dave "The Snake" Sabo. Signing to Atlantic, Skid Row issued its self-titled debut album in 1989; an opening slot on Bon Jovi's U.S. tour, combined with heavy MTV airplay of the video "Youth Gone Wild," launched the band to stardom, and the singles "18 and Life" and "I Remember You" both reached the Top Ten.

Having joined SKID ROW at the ripe young age of 18, BACH began a whirlwind career fuelled with sex, drugs and rock and roll alongside large amounts of touring and Gold & Platinum accolades.

Skid Row's second album, 1991's Slave to the Grind, became the first ever hard rock album to debut at #1. In 1996 when he ventured off on his own where he created acclaimed solo material and his various collaborations with musicians across all genres. The album Bring 'Em Bach Alive arrived two years later, followed by a live DVD (Forever Wild) in 2004 and Angel Down in 2007. Since his departure from Skid Row in the mid 90's, Sebastian Bach still remains one of the most relevant rock figures in pop culture today, with three solo records, network television appearances on MTV, VH1 and CMT, guest appearances on Gilmore Girls, Trailer Park Boys, Californication and other popular television shows, and several acting stints on and off Broadway.

Bach’s most recent album, Give 'Em Hell  impressively, landed on the U.S. Top Hard Rock and Top 200 Billboard charts, proving his prowess decades after his initial debut. Throughout his career, Sebastian Bach has sold over twenty million records both as the lead singer of Skid Row and as a solo artist. the albums Skid Row and Slave To The Grind, which became the first ever hard rock album to debut at #1.

"Bach has never sounded better." - Jam Magazine

Last year, he released his book "18 And Life on Skid Row", an exhilarating, whip-smart and brutally honest memoir.

RICHIE KOTZEN Live in Singapore
LAMC Productions is proud to announce that the Guitar wizard, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Richie Kotzen, will be bringing his ‘Salting Earth World Tour’ to Singapore for the very first time on August 21, 2017 at the Esplanade Annexe Studio!Fans are in for a special treat as Kotzen will be performing songs from his impressive 28-year career at his electrifying show in Singapore. The tour comes in support of Kotzen's recently-released 22nd solo album, Salting Earth, on which he plays every instrument.“Salting Earth is another solid collection of songs to add to the Kotzen catalog. Few artists continue to put out new music as often as Kotzen and not only is Kotzen continuing to put out new music, but he keeps doing it at a high level. Salting Earth has a little something for everyone”. - Blue Rocks Review Richie Kotzen has never been an artist known for playing by the rules and that meant putting on the brakes after a nonstop flurry of band-related activity in order to refuel the creative process for the ten heartfelt and hard-hitting songs that comprise his vibrant solo album, Salting Earth. The proof is on display deep within the grooves of Salting Earth, which veers from the balls-out, heads-up declaration of the opening track “End of Earth” to the burning-sky harmonic thrust of “Thunder” to the Prince-like funk-jazz swing of “This Is Life” to the acoustified take-me-as-I-am self-reflection of the album’s final song, “Grammy.” A one man production machine, Kotzen writes all the music and plays every instrument on his solo work. Guitar, bass, drums, piano and more.Kotzen’s previous solo release, 2015’s diverse, far-reaching Cannibals, was also a well- received hit among his core fan base. With his fast playing, fluid sweeping technique, and a soulful singing voice, Kotzen was being mentioned in the same breathe as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Tony MacAlpine. Word spread along the Hollywood music scene and Kotzen joined Poison when he was 21 replacing departed C.C. DeVille giving the band more of a blues sound on their Native Tongue release. Kotzen, who once opened for The Rolling Stones on their Bigger Bang tour in 2006, describes his style as a mix of rock, blues, jazz, fusion, and soul music.“When Richie Kotzen picks up his guitar, it literally speaks through him.” - Music RadarIn 2013 Richie joined forces with two giants of the music industry. Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth, Mr Big, Steve Vai) and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Flying Colors) to form The Winery Dogs. The power trio released two highly successful albums, The Winery Dogs in 2013, and Hot Streak in 2015.While having several lifetimes of albums to his name, bringing music to the people is Richie’s main mission.Kotzen is clearly eager to hit the road. “I know this is going to be a long album cycle of touring, and already we are talking about going to places I’ve never been before,” Kotzen notes. “With the new record being done and knowing dates are being booked around the world, I can feel my creative energy surging once again.”Said energy surge has been seeded quite liberally all throughout Salting Earth, an album that shows Kotzen as the pillar for how to harness newfound creativity in the best light imaginable. Come and dig his Earth!

Mosh pits swirled, shoes were lost"The Void Report, on Ministry’s latest tour. This will be MINISTRY’s first ever show in Singapore! The set list gives a nod to their past with Just One Fix, N.W.O, Stigmata, Thieves, So What as well as their brutal more recent songs Punch in the Face, Lies Lies Lies. This isn’t the Industrial Revolution, this is the Industrial Insurgency as MINISTRY and FILTER combine to create their own energy source: fuelled by rib crushing riffs, thunderous rhythms and body slamming tunes. This is one tour that will leave fans emotionally charged and one you will NOT want to miss.Ministry’s machine-gun beats and crushing guitars make other heavy bands seem rather faceless in comparison. Founder and frontman Al Jourgensen, dressed like a haunting voodoo priest, tears through songs with his indelicate roar and gives the band a greater aura of style and theatrics.Al “Fucking” Jourgensen is the undisputed king of industrial music. The Godfather of a genre he helped to create and mold into something millions of fans have grown to love throughout its 30+ years in development. You can’t say his name without thinking of heavy guitar riffs, crushing drum beats and unmistakable samples. Even his image is iconic and recognizable. You immediately think of a man in black, with top hat and flowing dreadlocks.1985 - 86 were milestone years for Jourgensen. This is where he established himself as a force to be reckoned with releasing two iconic and powerful releases.  The newly discovered Ministry, producing the heavy dark, industrial sound, Twitch and just months later, the equally iconic sounds of the Revolting Cocks, Big Sexy Land on Wax Trax!In the early 90’s Jourgensen and Ministry found critical and commercial success. One of which being Grammy nominated for the now legendary 1992 album, Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs. The track, N.W.O. bringing not only the Grammy nod, but the Ministry name to the mainstream. To date, he’s earned the respect of his peers around the world from bands like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and KMFDM.  Jourgensen continues to influence and change in his many different incarnations.  His style is and always will be deeply rooted in Industrial, but he’s not afraid to venture out and create new forms as most recently can be heard in his latest project, Surgical Meth Machine.Industrial rock behemoths FILTER will be joining MINISTRY! Led by Richard Patrick, FILTER bring their larger than life live performance to Singapore for the first time too! Having recently released their 7th album “Crazy Eyes”, this will be your chance to listen to all your favourite tracks – Take A Picture, Hey Man Nice Shot, Welcome To The Fold, Trip Like I Do plus more!“Richard Patrick is no stranger to delivering a pummeling round of songs to his diehard fans.” – thevinyldistrict.comFilter emerged as one of the most popular bands in the mid-'90s post-industrial alternative scene. Vocalist and primary member Richard Patrick had been a guitarist with Nine Inch Nails during the Pretty Hate Machine and Broken eras. In 1993, Patrick decided to leave NIN to form his own band. He met Brian Liesegang through a mutual friend and the pair began to record together. Patrick handled vocals, guitars, bass, programming, and drums, while Liesegang covered programming, guitars, keybo

MIDNIGHT OIL THE GREAT CIRCLE 2017 LIVE IN SINGAPORE ONLY STOP IN SOUTHEAST ASIA!
LAMC Productions is proud to announce that legendary Australian Rock band and agitators, MIDNIGHT OIL, will be bringing their 'The Great Circle 2017' tour to Singapore for the very first time on August 16, 2017 at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre! "The Great Circle 2017" World Tour will see the group's classic lineup with Rob Hirst, Martin Rotsey, Peter Garrett, Jim Moginie & Bones Hillman literally circle around our overheating planet for 6 months, starting and ending with gigs in Sydney. "The Great Circle 2017" World Tour marks Midnight Oil's first shows in 15 years, apart from two stadium benefit concerts (and their related small warmup gigs) in Australia in 2005 and 2009. It will also be the group's most extensive world tour since their classic late 80's/early 90's albums like "Diesel & Dust", "Blue Sky Mining" and "Earth & Sun & Moon" sold over 10 million copies around the globe. Anyone with even a passing knowledge of Australian culture knows the basics of Midnight Oil's story. They are the incendiary post-punk band from Sydney's northern beaches who shunned pop TV shows, forging a fierce bond with their audience through nonstop gigging and jagged Ozrock classics like "Back On The Borderline", "Bus To Bondi" and "Don't Wanna Be The One". They are the musical innovators who turned high tech, anti-jingoistic polemic into hits like "Power & The Passion", "U.S. Forces" and "When The Generals Talk". "After so much time away, the Oils were still astonishingly tight." - The Daily Telegraph on Midnight Oil's First Reunion show They are the activists whose social justice campaigning includes "The Dead Heart", "Redneck Wonderland", "Beds Are Burning" and hijacking the 2000 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony with their "Sorry" suits. They are the committed humanists and environmentalists who brought us anthems like "Blue Sky Mine", "Forgotten Years" and "Say Your Prayers" plus a string of protests from the Tasmanian wilderness and the Jabiluka Uranium mine near Kakadu to mid-town Manhattan where they unforgettably stopped traffic outside the Exxon building after the Alaskan oil spill. Their music makes you feel. Their lyrics make you think. And the combined impact live onstage is nothing less than a call to action. In a dangerously warming world of Trump, Hanson, Petry and Le Pen the voice of Midnight Oil clearly takes on renewed relevance; they have always been a band that both reflects and shapes "the temper of the times". Clarion calls like "it's better to die on your feet than live on your knees" may have been intended for earlier eras but they resonate more than ever in these days of 'alternative facts'. At one level "The Great Circle 2017" simply reflects the geographic reality that the tour will loop around the world and circle Australia. At another level the name clearly implies the planet itself but it has a further meaning too. Sailors, and airmen use "the great circle" to navigate the globe because on a sphere the shortest distance between two points is not usually a straight line. How appropriate for a group who has always been deeply engaged with the world around them but whose career path has never been linear.

Known for its excellent mix of progressive metal stylings with heartfelt vocals and thought-provoking lyrics, the album was also voted as  Loudwire's Metal Madness award for best metal album of all time in 2013.The band embarked on the first leg of the "Images, Words & Beyond 25th Anniversary Tour" by kicking things off with  two sold-out nights at Rome, Italy's Auditorium Parco Della Musica."Combining old classics with new cuts, Dream Theater demonstrates why they've managed to stick around all these years." - Pop MattersDream Theater's three decades of continually redefining the parameters of hard rock and progressive heavy metal, overcoming obstacles, surpassing critical expectations, and resisting the incessant winds of industry uncertainty. Staying an exciting course in a sea littered with also-rans, pretenders, and opportunists, Dream Theater's body of work endures with singular triumph.Originally named Majesty by Berklee College of Music students Petrucci, bassist John Myung, and drummer Mike Portnoy, the band soon expanded with the addition of keyboard player Kevin Moore and vocalist Chris Collins. Releasing an eigh--tune demo, Majesty Demo, as Majesty, the group sold 1,000 copies within six months. The departure of Collins in late 1986 left Majesty without a vocalist, and after a long period of auditioning possible replacements, the group settled on Charlie Dominici in November 1987. Changing its name, the group agreed on "Dream Theater," inspired by a now-demolished California movie theater.Following a couple of changes over the years, Dream Theater's current lineup includes John Petrucci on guitar, John Myung on bass, James LaBrie on vocals, Jordan Rudess on keyboards and continuum and Mike Mangini on drums. Dream Theater released their latest studio album, The Astonishing in January 2016 to generally favourable reviews and debuted in the top ten of nine countries and became the first Dream Theater album to reach number one on the US Billboard Rock Chart."Prog-metal heroes go all the way on an epic rock opera with The Astonishing" - Rolling Stones
